protestorsThere’s a worldwide anti-establishment movement going on. The U.K. decision to exit the European Union is the latest example. A recent election in Austria manifested a groundswell of populism sweeping Europe amid the EU’s failure to deal with the ongoing economic and migrant crises. Anti-establishment candidates were recently elected to lead Rome and Turin, and the rise of Trump and Sanders was no accident.

Why was the Brexit decision such a shock? It’s because investors tend to see, read and hear only what the fat cats are saying. The fat cats are out-of-touch with reality because they don’t feel the pain of the poor, unemployed or underprivileged.

Voters are rebelling against entrenched political leaders, failed policies and over-regulation. The Brexit decision was a great step toward re-establishing self-determination and Freedom.
